Clear Creek Independent School District

Education Matters: Town Hall Meeting Follow Up

A committee of employees, parents, business leaders and senior citizens released $16.2 million in recommended budget reductions for the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD). The committee was formed to generate community-driven ideas on how to mitigate the potential loss of $21-$41 million in state funding. To date, CCISD has reduced expenditures by $11.9 million and has outlined an additional $9.4 million over the next two years. The recommendations presented to the Board are above and beyond what the district has reduced during 2008-2010 and expects to save in the outward years of 2011-2013.  CCISD is seeking  public input on the proposed budget reductions. Please take the time to review the materials below and submit your responses through the survey icon. Thank you!
