Clear Creek Independent School District

CCISD: Free and Reduced Meal Program

The Clear Creek Independent School District is committed to the development and growth of our valued partnerships with our parents and community. In our foundational beliefs, we state, "Education is a joint partnership between family, school and community". As your partner, we are aware of the difficulties that you may be facing as a result of tough economic times. A recent survey of our area revealed that more than 50% of our families indicated their home financial situation has worsened over the last twelve months.  This is why it is more important than ever we keep you informed in order for you to take full advantage of all available resources.

The National School Lunch Program provides qualifying students with a free or reduced lunch, and that’s not all! The program also paves the way for students to receive free tutoring, tuition for CCISD summer school programs, and enrollment in CCISD full-day prekindergarten programs. As we have seen, many parents who used to pay for their child to attend private tutoring or summer camps now view these academic enrichment opportunities as a luxury they no longer can afford. These programs may be available at no cost for families who qualify even those families with dual incomes.

If you do not choose to participate in the National School Lunch Program, it is critical that parents fill out the application and return it to their campus. Your participation in CCISD's Partnering with Parents campaign will also allow for the Clear Creek ISD to receive federal funding for instructional programs that benefit all children at your local school. Federal funding the District receives is based on the number of children who qualify for this program.

Below is the Federal Income Chart to see if you qualify for this program.
