Career and Technical Education

Overview of Career and Technical Education

Dana Morgan Director of Career and Technical Education

Clear Creek Independent School District’s Career and Technical Education program reinforces state and national academic standards by providing students training in career areas of interest to them. The goal is to ensure that students are prepared to succeed in post secondary education and in a world that is increasingly oriented toward highly skilled jobs.

Through rigorous technical instruction, students are able to gain hands-on experience by actively participating in authentic real-world problem solving and projects.

Quality ProgramsHUNCH Program

Our programs and students have received state and national recognition, and we credit our success to strong support by Clear Creek Independent School District’s Board of Trustees and Superintendent in providing resources necessary for quality programs for Clear Creek students.

We embrace an attitude of continuous improvement by keeping abreast of current trends in business and industry. It is through the involvement and teamwork among members of the Clear Creek Independent School District family, parents and our business and post-secondary partners that we are able to provide relevant “real world” experience coupled with high academic standards which greatly enhance our students’ future successes.

Prepare for the 21st Century Workplace

CNA ProgramWe are also excited about partnerships with business and industry that give students a chance to spend time in work-based learning programs as paid or unpaid interns. Our Tech Prep degree plans are giving students college credit for courses taken in high school.

Clear Creek Independent School District Career and Technology Education is a great way for students to prepare for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21 st Century.
