Social Studies Philosophy
Our Clear Creek Social Studies philosophy is to educate students to think and act responsibly as contributing members of a democratic society. We must prepare student to reason and evaluate the processes that have developed our society and to view their choices in daily life as those that will affect their future and the future of our world.
About the Department
We in Clear Creek ISD are committed to providing a K-12 social studies program that builds a foundation in history, geography, economics, government, citizenship, culture, science and technology, society, and social studies skills. These concepts enable our students to understand the importance of patriotism, function in a free enterprise society, and appreciate the basic democratic values of our state and nation.
