Signing Bonuses

For the 2009-2010 School Year, a Signing Bonus of $5,000 will be provided for the programs listed.  Employees new to Clear Creek ISD will receive $3,000 during 2009-2010 and $2000 during the 2010-2011 school years. 

This one time signing bonus covers only full-time employees who will be teaching a minimum of at least one full semester in year one (2009-2010).  Eligible employees must teach the entire school year in year two (2010-2011) to receive the additional $2000 signing bonus.

Certified teachers new to the district (not employed by CCISD in previous 24 months) are eligible to receive the signing bonus. TRS retirees are not eligible for signing bonuses.

• Math/Science Signing Bonus
  The signing bonus applies to certified applicants eligible to teach grades 7-12 or 8-12 Math or Science, and who will be in a classroom assignment that requires them to hold certification to teach high school level math or science classes.
• CTE Signing Bonus*
  The signing bonus applies to certified applicants eligible to teach the following in the CTE program areas:
  Technology Education
  Engineering (Project Lead The Way)
  Health Science Technology
• Speech Language Pathologist Signing Bonus
  The signing bonus applies to state certified applicants with at least a Bachelor’s Degree and eligible to work as a fully licensed Speech Language Pathologist (CCISD Level II & above).
• Bilingual Signing Bonus
  Elementary Teachers that are fully certified as Bilingual Instructors and assigned to a classroom that requires a certified Bilingual Instructor will be provided a $3000 signing bonus and a $3000 yearly stipend. (Bilingual certified instructors new to the district (not employed by CCISD in previous 24 months) are eligible to receive the signing bonus. Additionally, TRS retirees are not eligible for signing bonuses).

*For certified applicants and Alternative Certification Program (ACP) Candidates.  ACP Candidates are payable upon passing content area exam.
