First time author John Gosselink
John Gosselink is an English teacher who has taught students from seventh grade up to the university level. He has written a weekly humor column for his local paper for more than a decade. Jenny Moss
First time author James Crowley
James Crowley is a writer and filmmaker. He lives in Austin, Texas. Crowley's feature film directorial debut, ‘The Journeyman’, which he also wrote, won the Audience Award at the 2001 South by Southwest Film Festival. From there, Crowley was the Supervising Location Manager and/or Scout for ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ films. Crowley covered the globe for the three films but left the series in 2008 to direct the Polish feature film ‘Funio’ in Warsaw. His first novel, Starfish, was published by Disney-Hyperion in 2010.
Ana Marie Rodriguez
Mel Tarman
A retired professional who worked as an executive, entrepreneur, and educator, Mel Tarman is a first-time children’s author who is passionate about teaching young readers about the history of the Jewish people. Among his other achievements, Tarman is the recipient of the American Legion Merit Award for outstanding writing and he is the former publisher of New Ventures magazine for young entrepreneurs.
