CCISD Bond Updates
The Clear Creek Independent School District prides itself on its long-standing tradition of educational excellence for all students and exceptional stewardship of our taxpayers’ dollars. As a testament to our continuous academic accolades and fiscal management awards, families move into Clear Creek ISD because they want and deserve the very best education for their children.
On average, our school district’s enrollment has increased between 700 to 900 new students each year. This trend is projected to last through 2020 when our district reaches build-out. Today, we are serving 37,000 students. As our district continues to face the many challenges associated with rapid growth, our Board of Trustees unanimously called , and voters approved, a bond referendum in May 2007 in the amount of $183 million to fund:
- Construction of four new schools (1 high school, 1 intermediate, and 2 elementary)
- Converting two ninth grade centers back to intermediate schools
- Increasing the number of math and science classrooms at all high schools (The Texas Legislature passed a bill in 2006 requiring all students to take four years of math and science.)
- Adding buses to the bus fleet/replacing aging buses 23+ years old
