District Committees
Clear Creek ISD continually seeks individuals willing to serve on committees and task forces to study issues involving the education of CCISD students. For information about joining a committee or for answers to any of your questions, contact the Office of Public Information at (281) 284-0020.
School Boundary Advisory Committee (SBAC) The committee is made up of volunteers from the community and will contribute to redrawing attendance zones.
District Education Improvement Council (DEIC) The DEIC is comprised of employees, parents, students, community members and business representatives that establishes and reviews the District’s educational goals, objectives and major district-wide classroom instructional programs.
School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) As required by law (Title 2, Chapter 28, Section 28.004 of the Texas Education Code) Clear Creek ISD formed a School Health Advisory Committee. This committee is made up of mostly parents of school children, who are not employed by the school district, as well as a variety of community members.
The SHAC assists the school district in providing quality health instruction, a healthy school environment, quality physical education, school counseling, quality food service, staff wellness, and community/school programs to promote healthy habits.
The SHAC meets two times a year.
Citizens Financial Advisory Committee (CFAC) Members of the CFAC are business learders of the community who possess financial or operational background and act in an advisory role to the Chief Financial Officer and Superintendent by:
- Reviewing financial issues impacting the District
- Reviewing operational issues impacting the District
- Reviewing budget issues impacting the District
- Reviewing legislative issues impacting the District
- Developing a working knowledge of educational programs
