District and Program Advisory Committees
Clear Creek ISD continually seeks individuals willing to serve on committees and task forces to study issues involving the education of CCISD students. For information about joining a committee or for answers to any of your questions, contact the Office of Communications at (281) 284-0020.
Citizens Facility Advisory Committee
The Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees established a citizens committee in September 2012 to recommend a list of prioritized capital projects that will meet the District’s growth and replacement needs over the next 3-5 years. This limited purpose committee will meet with staff, architects, engineers, and demographers in order to evaluate the District’s long term course for the addition, renovation and replacement of instructional facilities, support facilities, major mechanical systems, technology, and transportation.
School Boundary Advisory Committee (SBAC) The committee is made up of volunteers from the community and will contribute to redrawing attendance zones.
District Education Improvement Council (DEIC) The DEIC is comprised of employees, parents, students, community members and business representatives that establishes and reviews the District’s educational goals, objectives and major district-wide classroom instructional programs.
School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) As required by law (Title 2, Chapter 28, Section 28.004 of the Texas Education Code) Clear Creek ISD formed a School Health Advisory Council. This council is made up of mostly parents of school children, who are not employed by the school district, as well as a variety of community members.
The SHAC assists the school district in providing quality health instruction, a healthy school environment, quality physical education, school counseling, quality food service, staff wellness, and community/school programs to promote healthy habits.
The SHAC meets two times a year.
