ABOUT THE CONSORTIUM:
The Galveston County Schools Consortium was created based on the work of the Texas Visioning Institute, a group of educators determined to create a new vision for public education in Texas. The Galveston County Schools Consortium consists of superintendents and school board members from eight school districts committed to transforming public education to meet the needs of a diverse community.
Through the Consortium’s efforts and a strong local/state partnership, all Galveston County students will be ready for college and/or the workforce by high school graduation. Collectively, the Consortium represents more than 70,000 students and 400,000 citizens of Galveston County. For more information, contact Elaina Polsen, CCISD Director of Communications at 281-284-0022 or epolsen@ccisd.net.
