2012 Senior-to-Senior Prom
It was without a doubt, an evening to remember! Elvis shook things up, Clear Brook High School’s Ruvinda Gunawardena crooned to an appreciative crowd and the Brass Rhythm and Reeds got everyone off their chair and on the dance floor.
The third annual Senior-to-Senior Prom was held April 5, 2012 in Clear Creek High School’s cafeteria. Members of the Class of 2012 from every CCISD high school were on hand to help make the event extra special. They volunteered to decorate for the prom, to host and to entertain seniors from the community. The following CCISD groups were instrumental in creating a memorable event:
- Culinary Arts, Floral Design, Hospitality National Technical Honor Society, PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership), Student Council
Seniors of all ages had a grand time as they enjoyed the sounds of the “big band” jazz ensemble. They not only danced, they sang along to many of the tunes including the crowd favorite “Save the Last Dance For Me”. During the festivities Spyros and Noula Varsos were crowned King and Queen.
Seniors who live within the Clear Creek ISD boundaries and who hold a Gold Card were invited to the yearly dance. Look for more information about the 2013 Senior-to-Senior Prom in the Fall Edition of the Communicator Gold.
