2011 Senior-to-Senior Prom
It was without a doubt, an evening to remember! Elvis shook things up, the Westbrook Intermediate School ballroom dancers dipped and swayed, the Clear Brook Jazz Band played some soulful selections and local singer Mickey Hobbs belted out everything from classic ballads to today’s top tunes.
The second annual Senior-to-Senior Prom was held April 21, 2011 in Clear Brook High School’s cafeteria. Members of the Class of 2011 from almost every CCISD high school were on hand to help make the event extra special. They volunteered to decorate for the prom, to host and to entertain seniors from the community. Seniors of all ages had a grand time on the dance floor as they enjoyed a mix of music.
During the festivities John and Mahvash Nosrat were crowned King and Queen by Clear Brook’s 2011 Homecoming Queen. The Nosrat’s were thrilled to be selected. “It was an extraordinary evening and words cannot express the joy we felt,” said the couple, “It was such a memorable event in our lives and we appreciate all CCISD did in organizing this event.”
Seniors who live within the Clear Creek ISD boundaries and who hold a Gold Card were invited to the yearly dance. Look for more information about the 2012 Senior-to-Senior Prom in the Fall Edition of the Communicator Gold.
