Clear Creek Independent School District's Superintendent Scholar program is an opportunity for you as a high school student to be recognized for outstanding achievement.
There are four criteria for being named a Superintendent Scholar:
- You must be a student at Clear Brook High School, Clear Creek High School, Clear Lake High School, Clear Springs High School, or Clear View Alternative High School. Qualifying grades must be earned at a CCISD high school.
- You must be taking at least four of the courses listed in this Superintendent Scholars Brochure
- You must earn a grade of at least 95 in all courses listed in the brochure.
- Students must not have been assigned to In School Suspension, Alternative Education Program, or removed from school for disciplinary reasons during the period in which the student earned academic honor.
Each year Superintendent Scholars will be recognized in the second semester. Since this is such an important achievement, Superintendent Scholars will be recognized in several ways:
- Students will receive a certificate and a writing pen for a one-year scholar, a certificate and a key-chain for a two-year scholar, certificate and a portfolio for a three-year scholar, and a certificate and a medallion for a 4-year scholar.
- Special recognition will be given in newspapers and Clear Creek ISD publications
