CCISD in the COMMUNITY
CCISD Values its Community Partners!
CCISD puts the “public” in public education through the encouragement of parental and community involvement in all we do. Clear Creek ISD is home to a robust Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the Clear Creek Education Foundation. Both 501 (c) organizations provide financial support for enrichment programs and more importantly, harness the volunteer spirit that transcends the Clear Lake area.
Your support of our teachers and students ensures we provide the community with the educational excellence it deserves and rightfully demands.

CCISD Cares was created for families facing temporary financial uncertainty resulting from the slumping economy, job loss or other significant challenges impacting family income. Clear Creek ISD Cares is pleased to share the following resources specifically for the purposes of supporting our students through minimizing disruption to services and their day-to-day academic and extracurricular routines.

Even if you don’t have children in the district, you are a key stakeholder in our success. Clear Creek ISD’s Maintenance and Operations (M&O) tax rate is $1.04 per $100 valuation and the Debt Service (bonds) is .32 per $100 valuation. Funding our schools involves a complicated formula designed by the State of Texas whereby local school districts no longer hold onto revenue generated from property value growth after 2006. CCISD’s Interested Neighbors Staying Informed on District Efforts (INSIDE) is a very popular community education program where citizens get the INSIDE scoop on everything from curriculum to future schools. We are always seeking candidates interested in joining this 5-month leadership program. Through various initiatives, Clear Creek ISD sets out to educate and engage these district stakeholders and constituents in all matters of education, creating an open and interactive culture.

Through Restaurants For Reading, area restaurants and community partners are helping Clear Creek ISD close the book on illiteracy. Restaurants for Reading is in full swing with several family favorite restaurants generously contributing a portion of their proceeds to CCISD libraries.
