About Our Schools
The Clear Creek Independent School District is a highly educated and diverse community committed to excellence in education, ensuring all students graduate ready to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world with the desire to be life-long learners.
CCISD comprises 26 elementary, 9 intermediate, and 6 high schools. In the fall of 2010, a new intermediate school and high school will open their doors for learning.
EDUCATION VILLAGE
Education Village is the first of its kind in Texas and construction is in full-swing. Site Features Elementary School #26 (Sandra Mossman Elementary), Intermediate School #10 and High School #7.

As part of Bond 2007, these schools will be built on the same property and share some common areas including the main kitchen preparation area, mechanical plant and service yards. While the schools share the same property and some services, each campus is separate and students will not have access to a school that is not their home campus unless organized by a teacher. The Clear Creek Independent School District is also home to one of only 41 early college high schools in the state of Texas. CCISD's Clear Horizons Early College High School is a small school with a super-sized mission. Designed to give students an opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate's degree, or up to two years of college credit, Clear Horizons is for the highly capable learner, students who may not thrive in a large high school environment, the socioeconomically disadvantaged or the first generation college goer who thought higher education was perhaps out of reach.
In its first year of full implementation, Clear Horizons earned an Exemplary rating from the Texas Education Agency and in 2009 this innovative program graduated the first class of students who earned both a high school diploma and an Associate's degree.
