General Information:

• Students may check out a magazine overnight instead of a book.
• Students may check out books for a period of one week.
• Students cannot have more than 2 books checked out at a time.
• Reference books, videos and software are not available for students to check out.
• Overdue notices are sent out to students every 4th week.
• There is no charge for printing from the computer workstations.
• Students must return all overdue books before they are allowed to check out any other books.
• Students may use the internet for class projects if the CCISD "Acceptable Use Policy" has been returned with a parent signature.
• A collection of materials for parents to check out is available.
• Students come to the library on a weekly basis with their class to check out books. In addition, students come to the library for stories, booktalks, and lessons designed to enrich the material being presented in the classroom setting.

Resources:

• Students have access to books, periodicals, online databases and multimedia resources.
• Eight student workstations are available for card catalog searches, and internet access.
