Bay Elementary Mission Statement

Our Mission at James F. Bay Elementary is to equip our students with the interpersonal skills and knowledge base to excel in our diverse community while nurturing them to achieve their personal maximum potential.

History of Bay

James F. Bay Elementary School was originally known as Seabrook Elementary and was the first school in this area back in 1930. In 1969 it became James F. Bay Elementary, named after Mr. Bay who had been the principal for many years. We are proud that children of the original seven astronauts attended this school as the space program was just lifting off.
