General Information:

• 1st – 5th graders may check out 2 books.
• Pre-K and Kindergartners may check out 1 book.
• There is no charge for printing from the computer workstations.
• Students may use the Internet for class projects and research if the CCISD Acceptable Use Policy has been returned with a parent signature.
• Parents may check out books from the library with proper identification after an account has been established.

• Students with overdue books are not permitted to check out another book.
• There is no fine for an overdue book.

• Bluebonnet Voting: Grades 3 – 5 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are encouraged to participate in the Bluebonnet Reading Program. There are twenty books nominated for the Bluebonnet Award. Students in these grades, who have read at least five of the twenty books, may vote for their favorite at the end of January. Their votes, along with the votes of other third, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders across the state of Texas, determine the winner of the Bluebonnet Award!

• 8 student workstations are available for library catalog searches, research and Internet access.
