Message from the Principal
The role of an educator presents perhaps the most challenging, yet rewarding, profession in our society. At Clear Lake City Elementary, we take pride in our responsibility to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each student in a safe learning environment. Children vary widely in their developmental strengths and limitations, and this variation has powerful implications for educating our children. It is for this reason that we believe in the unique attributes of each child, and our obligation to recognize these qualities when structuring our environment, curriculum, and instructional delivery. Educating students is a cooperative effort, and we utilize a partnership approach to give families and the local community opportunities to participate in the wide range of involvement activities, and to assume key roles and responsibilities in school-improvement efforts.
