General Information:

• Students may check out fiction and non-fiction books for 3 weeks.
• Selected reference books are available for overnight checkout. Back issues of magazines may be checked out for one week.
• Overdue fines of .10 per day are charged on late books, with a .25 per day charge for reference materials and magazines.
• Copies may be made for .10 per copy.
• Printing is available for .10 per page for black and white and .25 per page for color.
• Students must return all overdue books and clear all library fines before semester exams begin.
• Students may use the Internet for class projects if the CCISD Acceptable Use Policy has been returned with a parent signature.
• Students may not access personal email without permission.
• Office 2003 is loaded on the computers in the library, and students are encouraged to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher for class assignments.

Resources

• Students have access to 19,000 books, 70 periodicals, 2 newspapers, several subscription databases, and multimedia resources.
• Thirty student workstations are available for searching the online catalog, the Internet, and for using MS Office Suite. Database passwords are available at the library.
