7:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Monday – Friday
General Information:
Most books may be checked out for three weeks.
Reference books may be checked out overnight.
Magazines may be checked out for one week.
Overdue fines are ten cents a day for regular books and magazines, and twenty five cents a day for reference books.
Black and white copies may be made for ten cents a page.
Printing is available from all library computers. The cost is ten cents a page for black and white and twenty five cents a page for color.
Students must return all overdue books and clear all library fines before semester exams begin.
Students may use the Internet for class projects if the CCISD Acceptable Use Policy has been returned with a parent signature.
Students may not play games, download software, or check personal e-mail.
Office 2003 is loaded on the computers in the library, and students are encouraged to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher for class assignments.
Resources:
Students have access to 19,000 books, 70 periodicals, one newspaper, and several subscription databases which can be accessed through the library catalog or E4. Passwords for the databases are available in the library and on the library page of E4 (Blackboard).
Thirty student workstations are available for searching the online catalog, the Internet, library databases, Blackboard, and for completing class assignments.
