Message from the Principal
Dear Voyagers,
Did you know research shows that students whose parents are involved in their school are more successful? One of our campus goals this year is to increase parent involvement by providing a variety of ways for you to participate at Falcon Pass. We want all students to be successful and invite you to make “staying involved” a priority.
Our PTA hosts a multitude of volunteer opportunities ranging from helping in the literacy lab to preparing for upcoming special events. Whether daytime or evening work best for you, Kelli Bailey, our PTA president, can work with you to find a perfect fit for your time and talents.
Throughout the year, there will be many opportunities to share fun time with your child. I encourage you to participate in math & literacy nights, holiday lunches, class parties and special events. Contact your child’s teacher if you are interested in helping in the classroom by reading a book to the students, helping with an activity or chaperoning a field trip.
I encourage all of you to commit to carving out some time in your schedule for a minimum of 2 events per semester. I assure you it will be time well spent and you’ll more than likely have a great time! It’s sure to put a big smile on your child’s face knowing that you have taken time out of your busy schedule to focus on them and their school. Here is to increasing student success TOGETHER!
Finally, thank you to the many parents who do volunteer their time on a regular basis at Falcon Pass. Your time and support add so much to what we are able to provide for the students. You not only support your child, but all the children of Falcon Pass and for that I am grateful. You are appreciated!!
