Dear Ferguson Family:
Welcome to Ferguson Elementary School. I am pleased to have you and your family as part of our professional learning community. I look forward to working with you during the upcoming year and throughout your child’s elementary school career. As the 2009-2010 school year begins, we will continue to offer a rigorous instructional program which is both academically challenging and rewarding for all students.
At Ferguson, our mission is clear and vital: To help all children learn, to learn more tomorrow than they learn today, and to learn more next year than they learn this year. The staff at Ferguson Elementary in partnership with the parents and community will assist our students to become contributing members of society, empowered with the skills and knowledge to excel in the 21st century. We dedicate ourselves to providing high academic standards where students are challenged, excellence is expected and differences are valued. We instill the enjoyment of lifelong learning in a safe and nurturing environment. Together, we will build a relationship with each student and help them reach their highest potential.

Message from the Assistant Principal
Hello, Ferguson Elementary Students and Parents!
This is a great opportunity for me to introduce myself to you. My family and I have lived in League City for the past two years. This will be my 6th year as an assistant principal at an elementary school. I have two daughters, one will be in the sixth grade and the other will be a third grader at Ferguson. My older daughter loves sports, music and art while my younger daughter loves science and animals. As for me I love children, reading, Diet Coke and Mexican food. My husband also works for Clear Creek ISD. It is exciting for me to get to know all of you and learn the things that you like. You have just a few more days to get your supplies and clothes ready for school. We will have a fantastic year at Ferguson Elementary!
