NEW PRINCIPAL NAMED FOR INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL AT EDUCATION VILLAGE
League City – As Education Village gets closer to completion, the leadership team is now in place.
On October 26, 2009 the Board of Trustees for the Clear Creek Independent School District approved Jamey Majewski as principal of intermediate school #10.
He joins Sandra Mossman Elementary Principal Stephanie McBride and high school Principal Karen Engle as a team leader for the state’s only Education Village. “I envision the faculties and staff of all three campuses working together as a community to share best practices and to collaborate to deliver an instructional program that is consistent with the Education Village framework,” said the new principal. The focus of all three schools is to grow students with 21st century skills who are college and career ready when they graduate.
Currently the Clear Creek ISD Director of Human Resources Secondary Education, Majewski served as the associate principal over the Clear Creek High School 9th Grade Center from January 2007 – July 2008. He was also an assistant principal at Clear Creek High School for five years. The intermediate and high school in Education Village are expected to be named in November. Both campuses will open in August of 2010.
