CLEAR BROOK STUDENT REACHES SEMIFINALS IN NATIONAL SCIENCE COMPETITION
Friendswood, TX – The Siemens Foundation has announced the Semifinalists and Regional Finalists of the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology, revealing the brightest high school minds in contention for the nation’s most coveted teen science prize. Clear Creek ISD congratulates Manpreet Kaur, a student at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, for her selection as a Semifinalist.
A record number of 1,348 projects were received this year. From those, 318 students were selected as semifinalists and 96 as regional finalists. The Siemens Competition is administered by the College Board and awards college scholarships ranging from $1000 to $100,000 in individual and team categories.
